8 Kinds of pressure-receiving methods for orifice flowmeter

The orifice flowmeter is a new generation flowmeter that integrates flow, temperature and pressure detection functions and can automatically compensate for temperature and pressure. It has strong function, compact structure, simple operation and convenient use. Widely used in process control and measurement in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power, heating, water supply and other fields. Orifice flowmeter is widely used in various fields of the national economy such as coal, chemical industry, transportation, construction, textile, food, medicine, agriculture, environmental protection and people's daily life. It is the development of industrial and agricultural production, saving energy and improving product quality. Important tools to improve economic efficiency and management level play an important role in the national economy. In process automation instruments and devices, flow meters have two functions: as a test instrument for the process automation control system and a total meter for measuring the quantity of materials.

Then , Huaheng Instrument introduces several kinds of pressure-receiving methods for the orifice flowmeter of our factory.

1. Ring chamber pressure standard orifice plate:

It is a standard orifice plate. Since the ring chamber pressure is achieved, the measurement accuracy is improved, and the minimum straight pipe length required for installation is shortened, which can be widely applied in various departments.

2. The corner hole is separately drilled to take the standard orifice plate:

It is a standard orifice plate. This type is often used when the pipe diameter is above 400 mm. The pressure-receiving method is that the flange is separately drilled and pressed, the circular equalizing ring is pressed or the square equalizing ring is pressed. The orifice plate may be in the form of a shank hole or a non-standard round hole plate.

3, Flange pressure standard orifice plate:

It is a standard orifice plate. Regardless of the diameter of the pipe, the center of the upper and lower pressure tapping holes are located at 1 hour (25.5 mm) from the end faces on both sides of the orifice plate. This form is commonly used in oil refining systems.

4, The diameter of the standard pressure plate:

It is a standard orifice plate. The pressure is taken by the pipe. The center of the upstream pressure tap is located at the inner diameter of the pipe in front of the orifice plate. The center of the downstream pressure tapping hole is located at a distance from the rear end surface of the orifice plate to half the inner diameter of the tube.

5, Small diameter orifice plate:

It is a non-standard orifice plate. Used to measure fluids in pipe diameters from 10 mm to 50 mm.

6, Double orifice plate:

It consists of two standard orifice plates installed in a straight pipe at a certain distance from each other. In terms of the direction of the stream, the front hole is called the auxiliary hole plate, and the rear hole plate is called the main hole plate. The cross-sectional ratio of the auxiliary orifice plate to m1 is larger than that of the main orifice plate. The two orifice plates form a nozzle similar to a liquid wall. It is used for low Reynolds number fluids or for high viscosity flow measurements.

7, Round hole plate:

It is a non-standard orifice plate and is suitable for the measurement of fluid flow rate of dirty, or bubbled, or solid particles, and its measurement accuracy is low.

8,Tapered inlet orifice plate:

It is a non-standard orifice plate. The angle between the circular cone and the centerline is 45°. This tapered inlet orifice flowmeter can be used in applications where the Reynolds number is very low, but the pipe size must not be less than 25 mm.
