This Magnetic Float Type Level Transmitter utilizes buoyancy and magnetic principles to produce an electrical output that responds to changes in the rise and fall of the float on the sensing guide. Its resistance output can be equipped with an appropriate level transmitter to provide a 4-20 mA analog signal indicating the level. Magnetic Float Type Level Transmitter's sensing guide includes a series of reed switches along the entire length of the measurement. The placement of the reed switch provides two possible measurement resolutions. Magnetic Float Type Level Transmitter employs a series of magnetic reed switches and corresponding internal resistors that actuate the vertical sensor rods by internal magnets within the moving float. Multiple segments are inserted together to obtain a probe of the desired length. When the float rises or falls through the liquid level, the sensing rod will produce a resistive output that is proportional to the liquid level.
