1.The pressure response:
Pressure transmitters can be classified into static and dynamic if they are classified by response speed. In general, we use static pressure transmitters, which means that the pressure changes slowly. However, there are also situations where pressure changes quickly and require rapid monitoring of pressure changes, which requires a response speed parameter.
For GE DRUCK pressure transmitters, both types of transmitters are generally responsive, especially for mV-level outputs. Example: For differential pressure transmitters of the LPM/LPX 5000 series, the response speed can be adjusted from 10ms to 2s. In other words, your pressure change in 10ms can be quickly reflected by the signal.
2.The electrical interface:
There are many types of electrical interfaces for pressure transmitters:
1, DIN43650 interface, which is the Hossman interface, the sealing level is IP65. It is also the electrical interface commonly used by Zui. Such as the interface of the PTX 1400C.
2, the general cable interface, direct cable. Such as the interface of PMP 317.
3, sealed cable interface, this is generally used in the level gauge, sealed IP68. Such as PTX 1830.
4, aviation plug / socket interface, mainly for easy connection. Such as PTX 600.
3.The pressure interface:
An important parameter of the pressure transmitter is the pressure interface. The commonly used pressure transmitter interface is G1/4, which is an inch 1/4 pipe thread. Of course, there is also 1/8 NPT. It depends on what interface is your side. Look like. Of course, there is also a solution to add adapters. If the pressure is greater than 5 MPa, it is recommended to use a copper gasket or a sealing ring for sealing.
GE DRUCK's pressure transmitters are commonly used for G1/4.
4. Power supply and output:
The supply voltage of the pressure transmitter is generally between 9 and 28V. Generally use 24V. The output generally has the following types:
1, 2 line system 4 ~ 20mA.
2, 3-wire system 0 ~ 5V.
3, 3-wire system 1 ~ 6V.
4, 4-wire system 0 ~ 5V.
5, 4-wire mV output.

5. Safety certification:
The operating environment of the pressure transmitter is sometimes very harsh. Examples of GE DRUCK products are as follows:
1. PTX 1400C is intrinsically safe.
2, PTX 7517 intrinsically safe.
3, PTX 7800 is flameproof.
During the process of using the pressure transmitter, you need to pay attention to the measured medium. Some media are liquids, some are gases, some are corrosive, these are all things to note:
1. The PTX1830 level gauge is suitable for measuring seawater. Because seawater is corrosive, the PTX1830 is designed as an all-titanium material.
2, PTX1290 liquid level meter is suitable for measuring sewage, because the sewage is oily and easy to coagulate, so PTX1290 is designed as all titanium, and flat membrane design.
3, the general industrial sensors are stainless steel, or Hastelloy, so it is suitable for most industrial sites.
7. Shock and vibration:
The operation of the pressure transmitter is generally small in impact and vibration. In special occasions, impact and vibration indicators are required. The pressure transmitters of the PTX7500 series are basically suitable for all vibrations and shocks.
